Terms and Conditions: Unique Party Hire
These Terms and Conditions apply to all hires and bookings made with Unique Party Hire.
By placing an order, paying a deposit, or confirming a booking in writing, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1 Definitions
Unique Party Hire, we, us, our means Unique Party Hire.
You, your means the customer making the booking.
Items means the hire equipment listed on your booking.
Hire period means the agreed hire time and date shown on your booking confirmation.
Booking confirmation means the message or invoice confirming your booking.
2 Booking and agreement
A booking is only confirmed once we issue a booking confirmation and receive any required payment.
Website photos are for reference. Colours and finishes can vary slightly due to lighting and screens.
3 Prices and payment
Prices are as shown at the time of booking.
We may require either full payment or a deposit to secure the date.
Any remaining balance must be paid before delivery or collection unless agreed in writing.
4 Changes to your booking
If you need to change items, quantities, delivery time, or address, contact us as soon as possible.
Changes are subject to availability and may affect the price.
5 Delivery, setup, and collection
Delivery and collection times are agreed during booking and may be given as time windows.
If you have booked setup, our team will place items in the agreed area. We do not move furniture or remove existing items unless agreed in writing.
You must ensure safe access for delivery and collection, including parking and any required permissions.
If access issues prevent delivery or collection, charges may still apply.
### 6 Customer responsibilities during hire
You are responsible for the items from the time of delivery or collection until they are collected by us or returned to us.
Items must be kept safe, dry, and used for their intended purpose.
Do not attach items to walls or venues using tape, pins, nails, glue, or anything that may cause damage unless agreed in writing.
Do not place items near open flames, heat sources, or wet areas unless the item is designed for that use.
7 Condition checks
You must check items at the time of delivery or collection. If anything is missing or damaged, tell us immediately.
If you do not notify us at delivery or collection, items are considered accepted in good condition.
8 Damage, loss, and cleaning
You are responsible for any loss, theft, or damage beyond fair wear.
You are also responsible for any additional cleaning required due to wax, confetti, stains, food, drink, smoke, or outdoor dirt.
Where damage occurs, we may charge for repair or replacement at our reasonable discretion.
9 Late returns and failed collection
If items are not ready for collection at the agreed time, or access is not available, additional charges may apply.
If you are returning items yourself and return them late, additional hire charges may apply.
10 Cancellations and postponements
If you cancel, charges may apply because we reserve stock and turn away other bookings.
Suggested policy for your business, you can adjust to suit your model:
More than 14 days before the event date: deposit is non refundable, remaining balance refunded if paid.
7 to 14 days before the event date: 50 percent of the total booking price is payable.
Less than 7 days before the event date: 100 percent of the total booking price is payable.
If you postpone, we may move your booking once to a new date subject to availability. Any payments already made will be transferred to the new date. If the new date is not available, standard cancellation terms apply.
11 Weather and outdoor use
For outdoor bookings, you are responsible for ensuring conditions are suitable and items are protected.
We may refuse to set up outdoors if conditions are unsafe or likely to damage items. Charges may still apply if we attend site and cannot safely set up.
12 Events outside our control
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our control, including severe weather, accidents, road closures, or emergencies. If this happens, we will do our best to rearrange delivery or offer a reasonable solution.
13 Liability
You are responsible for supervising items during your event.
We are not liable for indirect losses such as loss of profit, loss of enjoyment, or venue costs.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
14 Photos and marketing
We may take photos of our setups for portfolio use. If you do not want photos used, you must tell us in writing before delivery or setup.
15 Complaints
If you have a problem, contact us as soon as possible on the day of your event so we can try to resolve it. Complaints made after the event may limit what we can reasonably do.

17 Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
